This is the sight we found when we pulled up to the chapel in Mangaldan for District meeting. The zone leaders couldn't find a key for the church so --missionaries will be missionaries, they walked across the street to the "tindahan" (little store) for a snack while they waited.
Missionaries are always hungry--they sell cheap snacks and drinks at these little tindahans that are in almost every neighborhood. When they sell a soda, they pour it into a plastic bag and stick a straw in it, that way they don't give the customer the glass bottle which has a refund for the bottle when you return it.
